Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) shows distinct advantages when HK Tenlita Technology Limited provides our customers with stable and tough component prototypes which can ‘survive’ in harsh environment. With the help of laser, SLS lightly fuses nylon based powder layer by layer to achieve the final thermoplastic components.
The SLS process is used on powders derived from Nylon, metal powder, ABS plastic and so on to create the end-product. It creates prototypes with high precision and strong in strength which are useful for performance testing and assembly simulation.
High precision
The thickness of each layer in stereolithography is very thin (0.05 to 0.10mm). With a fine laser beam, prototypes with a truly realistic finish and complex geometric shapes can be produced.
Quality of the parts
Although the materials are replaced with resins, the parts manufactured using stereolithography have a good surface quality.
